MGCC MG Trophy 2011
This year we will once again be competing in the MG Trophy championship in our MGZR 190. This will be driven, as usual; by Chris Bray and sponsored by Finishline & RH Logistics Ltd. The dates for the championship are listed below. As always, any customers wishing to come along and enjoy the racing are more than welcome – we’d love to see you there!

Ma5da MX5 Racing 2011
This year, Finishline will be supporting two drivers in the Ma5da MX5 Championship - the largest ‘one make’ Championship on the UK Motorsport scene. Darren & Gary began racing in the championship in 2009 when they acquired a car with the intention of sharing the drives. However, this year they have a second car and are ready to complete a full season.

Darren Standing – Darren is 46, and his first foray into motorsport was Rallying. He competed in 12 car & road rallies, which then led to several seasons in tarmac stage rallies. After experiencing a test session in a Clio V6 Trophy car at the Grand Prix circuit in Jerez, Darren decided to give circuit racing a go. Following several drives in 2009, he supported Gary Hufford in 2010, and acquired and prepared a car for himself for the 2011 season.

Gary Hufford - Gary is 44 and, apart from some ‘arrive and drive’ corporate Karting; has no previous Motorsport experience. Sharing a drive in 2009 was a learning experience for Gary, but he finished each race that he started. The 2010 season was a full season with regular top 20 finishes and a season best 11th place. This will be Gary’s second full season and he hopes to break into the top 10.
